After a B.A. in Drama (’64 U. of Alberta), I worked ten years with CBC television in Toronto and Edmonton before I discovered clay in 1970. I was so taken with its possibilities that I decided to make it a career and spent five years in training and practice, taking ceramics classes and workshops at The Banff Centre and Art History courses at the U. of Calgary.

I became a full-time ceramist in 1977, working first in Edmonton, then for 31 years in High River, AB.  I created ceramic and bronze sculpture, fine pottery, murals and tiles.  I’ve taught classes and given workshops covering all aspects of working with clay.
